Kelowna has quickly developed in to a thriving City of 109,000 people who call Kelowna home and in the surrounding towns of the Central Okanagan Regional District another 58,000 people live and these numbers are growing rapidly.

Kelowna is well known for its hot summers where people can enjoy the 110 km long lake with July and August average daytime high temperatures of 27.4 (81.31F) it creates a great lifestyle. The average daytime high for December and January is -0.3 C (31.46 F) and with an average low of -7.7 C (18.14 F) the winters are relatively mild and with many ski resorts in close proximity with plenty of snow it really is the best place on earth to live. Kelowna also have several local theatre groups, a symphony orchestra, museums and numerous art galleries, the Okanagan College the University of British Columbia (UBC) and both offer transfer programs, as well as a wide range of adult education and trades courses.
